It's taken a long time to get to this point but here we are. LoveRoobarb is finally live, its taken litres of burning midnight oil, meetings, Skype calls, discussions, more meetings, emails, even letters to get our wonderful new website up and running.
LoveRoobarb is designed to compliment our shop in Bridgnorth, in the stunning county of Shropshire. The town is famous for the Severn Valley Railway, the steepest funicular railway, which is also the shortest railway in the UK, which links low and high town, plus of course we have the beautiful River Severn which flows through the centre of low town.
The town is the home of our shop Roobarb, which has been operating since May 2014. We sell a range of gifts from jewellery, bags, childrens clocks, rugs and cushions, women's clothes and fashion accessories including scarves, plus ceramic and glassware, soaps, picture frames in fact most of what you can put in your home and we wanted to share all our wonderful things with more than the people who visit us at our shop. Not everything from our shop is online yet, we are adding product all the time so please keep coming back to visit.
When we were planning our shop we decided to be a little different, adding a little bit of our own personality into it and have some fun and create some talk-ability, so we put a life size zebra in the window.
It created a huge buzz around town with people standing outside having their picture taken with it; to our blackboard outside the shop where we try to write something witty and humorous every day, not advertising our products, but there to make people smile. If they don't come in our shop at least we may have brightened their day a little.
